Don't let anything upset you enough to ruin your day. Ok, you missed your bus, fine, be creative with your five minute wait for the next one instead of being hard on your self. Your mobile phone runs out of battery in the middle of something. Just let it pass as a problem to solve, not as the end of the world. Certainly a policeman must have patience like a saint. I can imagine the situations where he might be tempted to loose his temper. But he doesn't. He keeps his cool.

About the picture. A policeman keeping a watching eye in Tylerstown Wales. Shortly after the WW2 had ended, photographer KG Kristoffersson travelled through Great Britain. The collection of negative originals that became the result of his photography, was just until recently never catalogued or scanned. It is a great feeling to be the second person in the world handling the negatives since 1945.  The image is a great example of his work.

KG Kristoffersson was one of Sweden's most productive photographers with a unique archive left behind and in our care. His archive dating from 1939, is a great source for picture-searchers.
