Without knowing anything about the man in the picture, i can't resist to write what's coming to my mind when looking at this odd telephone equipment from the1940s. Perhaps the man has just invented the first mobile phone? Rather large but still.. Or he has the latest equipment available for his social network? Even then people liked to stay connected, and clearly this gentleman has the tools to be just that. An odd picture without the necessary facts to transform it from a good picture to a great picture. This picture is however a great example of historical imagery that has great contemporary value. It can easily be used by authors who writes about social networking, telecommunications or other current upcoming subjects.

KG Kristoffersson was one of Sweden's most productive photographers with a unique archive left behind and in our care. His archive dating from 1939, is a great source for picture-searchers.
